About Me

My photo
Cheryl
I am currently living in Bangkok, Thailand. After completing my studies in Thai language (including studying Bible, prayer, history, social problems, culture, traditions, and more in Thai), I began volunteering with an English center based out of a local church. Education is critical for the future of the children of Thailand, so I teach English to at risk children and youth. However, it is investing in relationship with them and sharing the love of Jesus that brings real hope. As a teacher, I am able to develop relationships with students and their families. To love deep and love well so that I can be an example of Christ's love is my biggest goal. I've also started serving with a Community Help Group that provides food, clothes, meals, and other supplies for needy communities, as well as community service work projects that include painting and building. I recently added serving with another English Center also.
