What's there to say really? Oh yeah. I know. Life has been crazy! Crazy fast. Crazy slow. Crazy stressed. Crazy peaceful. Crazy rushed. Crazy calm. Just plain crazy!!! June brought the much anticipated summer break with it. It was crazy awesome! I enjoyed doing everything at a leisurely calm pace and doing what I wanted. I spent lots of time reading, lots of time talking to God, and lots of time preparing my heart (and itinerary) for Thailand. Yup. That's right. I said Thailand! I'm about to embark on a beautiful journey to explore options for long term service within Thailand. I couldn't be more excited to see what God has in store for me! Then crazy hit. I found out my roommate had decided to sell her house and downsize. Downsize meaning no more room for me to rent. Yikes! Here I am about to leave on this fantastic, life-changing journey for a month and I find out I have to find a new place to live BEFORE I leave! Did I mention this happened just a week and a half before my trip? Crazy! How would I ever find something so fast, in my rather low price range, and get moved in in less than a week? Silly me. Like "I" could do anything. Crazy worry, fear, & sadness came to an abrupt stop as I left it in the hands of the One who could make it happen. The evening before I was to leave town to visit my parents for Father's Day (yes, just this past weekend) I got the verbal ok to move in with some friends! Woohoo! God is good! He is a God of provision and meets my every need in the best way possible! Yes, my God is crazy awesome! I left my parents on Tuesday and went into crazy busy mode. I went to the new place, checked out the space, got a key and garage code, and came home to begin crazy packing. Thankfully I've been doing a bit here and there, but still tons to do! Wednesday through now (Friday) I completely moved everything into the garage of the new place. Needless to say, I am crazy exhausted. But tomorrow is a new day! And guess what?! I'm flying far, far away! The day for my month long vision trip to Thailand has finally come! I'm now back to being crazy excited! I plan to rest in tomorrow morning and enjoy some calm before boarding my flight. Life is good. God is good. Don't ever forget that!
You can worry and fret about what’s around the corner or you can believe that He will be your enough. It’s really as simple as that. Brutiful, isn’t it? (Brutal + Beautiful).
