Today in the River service Zach and the youth band led worship and did a phenomenal job! They sang the song Good, Good Father and I just love that song.
"And You tell me that You're pleased
And that I'm never alone.
You're a good, good Father.
It's who You are, it's who You are, it's who You are.
And I'm loved by You.
It's who I am, it's who I am,it's who I am.
Oh, it's love so undeniable,
I can hardly speak.
Peace so unexplainable,
I can hardly think.
As You call me deeper still,
Into love, love, love."
It brings me to tears every time I sing it. There's just something about singing outloud how very much God loves me. And that He's pleased and that I'm never alone. I can know those things in my head. And I can hear them said and believe it in my heart. But the moment I claim those truths over and over through this song, they touch something so very deep within me that I can't help but believe it heart and soul.
Words are powerful. So very powerful. Be careful how you use them. And claim God's truths, His promises, and your identity in Him outloud on a daily basis. Let these truths, these powerful words, transform your heart, soul, and mind.
